Wellness Consultant
About The Position
Join the leader in the tanning and wellness industry as a Wellness Consultant. You will help clients look and feel their best, achieve sales goals, and earn more as you grow. The role offers a welcoming, team-oriented atmosphere and opportunities to build a career. Average pay is $11.75–$15+ per hour, consisting of base pay plus up to 12% commission; top performers may earn more. Salons are open seven days a week. Schedules are designed with flexibility in mind, but the role includes some nights, weekends, and holidays. Occasional local travel may be needed for meetings, training, or supporting other salon locations. This is a security-sensitive position.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Basic computer and point-of-sale (POS) skills.
- A consistent work schedule and punctuality.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to be on your feet for 7 or more hours a day and lift up to 50 lbs.
Responsibilities
- Meet daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals.
- Greet and consult with clients in a professional, upbeat manner.
- Educate customers on the Golden Rules of Tanning.
- Deliver customer service that encourages clients to return.
- Keep the salon clean and organized and ensure it meets health department standards.
- Handle cash, perform opening and closing duties, and securely manage customer card data; PCI security training is included.
- Track goals and complete daily paperwork.
- Support the Store Manager and team with promotions and store goals.
