About The Position

The Wellness Consultant helps clients look and feel their best by providing professional, upbeat consultations and customer service while working toward sales goals. The role includes educating customers on the Golden Rules of Tanning, supporting promotions and store goals, and contributing to a welcoming, team-oriented salon environment. Pay averages $10.00–$15.00+ per hour, including base pay and up to 12% commission; top performers may earn more.

Consultants help keep the salon clean, organized, and compliant with health department standards. They handle cash, opening and closing duties, and customer card data securely, with PCI security training provided. They also track goals, complete daily paperwork, and follow company and legal requirements. The salons operate seven days a week; schedules offer flexibility, but some nights, weekends, and holidays are expected. Occasional local travel may be needed for meetings, training, or support at other salon locations. This is a security-sensitive position.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Basic computer and POS skills.
• A consistent work schedule and punctuality.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to stand for 7 or more hours per day and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Availability to work some nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Meet daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals.
• Greet and consult with clients in a professional, upbeat manner.
