About The Position

This role involves troubleshooting pumping equipment, assisting with equipment mobilization and demobilization, and preparing for and completing pump settings and maintenance. The Well Serviceman will also be responsible for setting and pulling deep well turbines and submersible pumps, conducting well rehabilitation programs, and performing test pumping of wells. A strong emphasis is placed on safety-conscious work habits. The position also includes operating and maintaining wells and tanks, preparing reports, acting as a lead for similar duties, and submitting documentation on water tables and supplies. Additionally, the role involves taking water samples, performing tests, assisting with water/wastewater facility maintenance, changing water meters, and performing other assigned duties.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
2-3 years of experience in water well
Requires a Valid Driver's License or CDL Learner's Permit, or Class "A" w/ Hazmat Endorsement
Learners permit is to be validated to CDL license within (6) months from date of employment (Subject to motor vehicle review).

Responsibilities

Troubleshoots pumping equipment.
Assists in the mobilization and demobilization of equipment.
Assist in the preparation process and completion of pump settings and pump maintenance.
Assists in setting and pulling both deep well turbines and/or submersible pumps.
Conducts well rehabilitation programs.
Pulls and sets pumps and conducts test pumping of wells.
Conducts all jobs duties in a safety conscious manner that reflects safety for others as well as self in work habits and in carrying out assignments.
Operates and performs routine maintenance on wells and tanks.
Prepares reports and make calculations in accordance with established procedures.
Acts as a lead for employees performing similar duties.
Provides job documentation in written reports and properly complete forms.
Submit reports on water tables and supplies.
Takes water samples and performs tests in accordance with established procedures.
Assists in maintenance of the water/wastewater facilities.
Changes water meters.
Performs other duties as assigned or requested.
