About The Position

Responsible for tacking/welding and processing parts by performing duties and responsibilities listed below. This role involves tacking, welding, fabricating, and repairing equipment and tooling. Responsibilities include grinding, cleaning, and beveling fit-up of welds, utilizing the correct weld gauge, and understanding various paperwork such as schedules, prints, and tech standards. The position requires a commitment to continuous improvement, good housekeeping, and organization. The Welding Technician will contribute to team efforts, complete assignments in other areas as needed, and maintain a safe and clean working environment. Routine maintenance, housekeeping, and participation in additional training are also expected.

Requirements

After reasonable training, will demonstrate knowledge, understanding, and the ability to weld per customer and/or company specifications.
Demonstrate mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn processes.
Must be able to use a tape measure.
Attention to detail.
Demonstrates the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
Demonstrate a consistent and appropriate sense of urgency.
Strong commitment to quality and working safety.
Must have strong organizational skills, be detail oriented and deadline driven.
Demonstrate regular, consistent attendance.
