About The Position

Flexial is a rapidly growing employee-owned company and an EOE and Drug Free Workplace. This position is available for both 1st and 2nd shifts. The 1st shift hours are 6:00 am to 2:30 pm. The 2nd shift hours are 2:30 pm to 10:30 pm and includes a $1.00 shift differential per hour. Welding Support Specialist I: With adequate guidance and training, this role involves practicing competence with leak checks, de-ringing, laser marking industrial parts, using measurement tooling such as micrometers, and industrial cleaning. A good understanding of safety, basic math, computer interfaces, measurement tool uses, and appropriate hand and power tool usage is required. Welding Support Specialist II: With minimal guidance and training, this role involves practicing safe methods on laser marking aero products, pinpointing leaks, painting, using comparators to measure parts, and ring and de-ringing aero parts. With adequate guidance and training, braze S&C rods, epoxy, and braze for aero products. This role regularly performs accurate and high-quality operations on the previously mentioned equipment and operations.

  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inferences.
  • Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportional to practical situations.
  • Ability to work with principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems.
  • Ability to deal with nonverbal symbolism (formulas, scientific equations, graphs, etc.)
  • Experience in a multi-shift manufacturing environment.
  • Must be an organized self-starter with good reasoning skills.
  • Must be able to work under general supervision and take direction.
  • While performing the duties of this job the employee is frequently required to walk; sit, talk and hear, stand, use hands; reach with hands and arms and climb or balance.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds continuously, 50 pounds occasionally, or up to 100 pounds, with assistance.
  • Must possess basic personal computer skills including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products, to include Word, Excel, Power Point, Project and Microsoft Outlook.
