About The Position
Maysville Community & Technical College is currently accepting applications for a full-time, 10- month term contract position at the Montgomery Campus for a: Welding Instructor.
Requirements
- Associate Degree in Applied Science
- Four years’ experience in the field and/or approval from Academic Dean
Nice To Haves
- Hold and maintain an AWS CWI certification
- Experience/proficient in blueprint reading & fabrication instruction
- Ability to navigate MS Office, specifically Word, Outlook and some Excel on a PC platform
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate and promote/instruct all customary safety practices in the field of welding
- Classroom supervision and instruction on a project to project basis
- Laboratory preparation
- Customized curriculum development and delivery
- Able to demonstrate/instruct stick, MIG and TIG welding processes
- Able to instruct acetylene/oxy-fuel cutting torch processes
