About The Position

Provide classroom instruction to college students through lecture, computer simulation, demonstration, laboratory exercises, handouts, the use of audio-visuals, responding to questions, and testing; and to perform related duties as required. Full-time, 10-month employee (Public School Calendar).

Requirements

• Welding Technology Diploma.
• Five (5) years experience in the welding industry.

Nice To Haves

• A.A.S. in Welding, or a related area.
• Effective communication skills; ability to work effectively in teams; passion for student learning and the welding industry.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective instruction to students online and/or in the classroom by preparing for each learning experience, providing supplemental materials to enhance textbooks and lessons, and using effective evaluation methods to measure student performance.
• Ensure teaching and working environment (classroom, lab, shop) by maintaining equipment and supplies, ensuring overall cleanliness, functionality, and conformance to OSHA standards.
• Maintain accurate records (such as attendance, grades, documentation for accreditation, etc.) and submit any corresponding reports according to departmental or college guidelines.
