About The Position

Lincoln Tech is seeking an experienced welder to teach in its Welding program. Prior teaching experience is not required; comprehensive training is provided. The instructor will use Lincoln Tech’s accredited training program and teach welding principles, provide practical instruction in a fully equipped facility, and help prepare students for careers in Welding Technology. The role also involves emphasizing safety and industry standards, supporting students’ professional growth, motivating and engaging learners, and assessing and communicating student progress.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 3 years of field experience in pipe welding and/or structural welding.
• Experience with GMAW (MIG), GTAW (TIG), SMAW (Stick), FCAW (Flux-cored arc), and plasma cutting.

Responsibilities

• Teach Welding Technologies classes using Lincoln Tech’s accredited training program.
• Provide hands-on welding training in a fully equipped facility.
• Teach safety procedures and industry standards.
• Encourage professionalism, accountability, and continuous improvement among students.
• Create a positive, interactive classroom atmosphere that supports learning and engagement.
• Assess student performance regularly and provide clear feedback.
• Prepare students with the skills and knowledge needed for careers in Welding Technology.
