Requirements

5+ years welding experience
Level II Certified Weld Inspector
Ability to conduct NDT processes, including VT, PT, & MT
Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work across multiple teams
Familiarity with ISO standards

Previous leadership experience a plus

Responsibilities

Lead the weld department in day-to-day activities
Identify opportunities for improvements across the department; collaborate with relevant personnel to enact improvements
Prepare weld procedures when needed
Support quality standards; conduct weld inspections in conjunction with the quality department
Support development of weld personnel, including coaching and training
Ensure a clean and safe department; adhere to and enforce all safety procedures
Other duties as assigned
