About The Position

T BAILEY is currently hiring a Helper-Trainee-Laborer to support our welding shop's operations. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work and wants to grow into a welding career. This position plays a key role in helping our team work efficiently and safely. If you're dependable, hardworking, and ready to learn, you could grow into a welding role through our in-house training program.

Requirements

• Must pass a fit-for-duty exam

Nice To Haves

• At least 1 year of experience in a fabrication or industrial setting is preferred
• A strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills
• Ability to work a consistent night shift schedule

Responsibilities

• Set up tools and materials before welding begins
• Clean up work areas after welding is completed
• Sweep shop floors and maintain a safe, organized workspace
• Grind weld splatter and use a wire wheel to clean up welds
• Support welders and fabricators with general labor tasks
• Beveling steel plates to prepare for welding
