About The Position
Pro Staffing, a division of Pro Mechanical Services Co., is seeking a Welding and Metal Fabrication QC for a full-time W-2 position. This role is with a local facility that specializes in metal fabrication. The ideal candidate will have a background in metal fabrication and welding, along with on-the-job QC experience. This is an immediate hire position.
Requirements
- Proven experience in quality assurance, fabrication, welding, and manufacturing
- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments
- Knowledge of Welding and manufacturing techniques
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work
- Proficiency in using calipers and other measuring tools
Responsibilities
- Conduct quality audits to verify products meet specifications
- Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers to inspect product dimensions
- Perform data collection and analysis to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Implement quality control processes in line with CGMP guidelines
- Collaborate with the QA/QC team to maintain and improve quality systems
- Inspect and fabricate components to ensure compliance with quality standards
