About The Position

Tri-County Technical College’s Engineering and Industrial Technology division is seeking collaborative, energetic, and innovative Welding Adjunct Instructors. Reporting to the Industrial Technology Department Head, instructors provide systematically planned and delivered instruction for the program. Assignments may include teaching MIG, TIG, and/or Stick Welding, in day or evening classes at community campuses in Anderson, Oconee, and Pickens counties. The Spring 2027 semester begins January 4.

Requirements

• Five years of welding work experience with previous or current welding certifications; or training/education in welding, three years of welding work experience, and previous or current welding certifications.

Nice To Haves

• Associate degree.

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned welding courses using systematically planned and delivered instruction.
• Maintain records of student academic progress and attendance.
• Evaluate student achievement and assign grades.
