About The Position

Part-time welding instructor to teach non-curriculum classes on an as-needed basis. The instructor must be able to teach methods for skillfully and safely learning welding theory and application in the following areas: mig, tig, and stick.

Requirements

• H.S. Diploma
• 3 – 5 years of welding experience

Nice To Haves

• A.A.S. Welding Technology
• 1+ years of instructional experience

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a wide range of welding/fitting tools and equipment
• Maintain a positive, safe learning environment focused on skills acquisition
• Work with diverse student populations with varying skill levels
• Prepare and submit instructional records, reports, grades, and all other required paperwork in a timely, efficient manner, meeting all deadlines and checking for accuracy, correctness, and completeness of all data.
