Adjunct faculty are responsible for presenting instruction in the specified subject area. The payment method is based on contact hours, with a rate of $27.00 per contact hour. This role involves providing instruction in the theory and practical applications of Welding and Joining Technology in accordance with academic state standards, maintaining knowledge of current trends, and instructing courses in a classroom and lab environment that closely simulates the industry. The instructor will also prepare standardized course syllabi, assess student progress, utilize current technology, and meet with students and staff. Maintaining program certification/accreditation requirements and attending professional development training may also be required. Selected candidates must be able to work morning or evening hours, Monday through Thursday.
