Overview As a Laborer/Welders helper, you’ll be a key player in our pipeline repair operations. You’ll assist in the manufacturing shop and installation of our specialty product PETROSLEEVE across Canada.

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED required
• Class 5 Drivers License (Non-GDL) is a must
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, in English.
• Successfully pass and complete pre-employment drug and alcohol screening

Nice To Haves

• Vocational Certification preferred
• Experience in energy or oil gas, pipeline, and water & sewage industry a plus
• Mechanical training preferred
• Two years of experience disassembling and maintaining mechanical components in a related field preferred
• CSTS 09, First Aid, H2S Alive, WHMIS 2015, Confined Space tickets an asset

Responsibilities

• Assist Welders with daily tasks
• Load, unload, and lift equipment, supplies, and product
• Engage in all forms of labour to assist in the successful completion of fabrication, construction, and installation projects from start to finish
• Cleaning and organizing the shop and yard
• May perform other related duties as assigned
