About The Position
Skilled Trades Partners is currently looking for an experienced Welder / Fabricator to join a busy shop in North Brookfield, MA. We’re looking for someone who can do more than just weld — the ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with grinding, sawing, drilling, and assembling metal components.
Requirements
- Previous welding experience required
- Experience with grinding, sawing, drilling, and assembly
- Ability to use common hand and power tools
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
Nice To Haves
- Previous shop or fabrication experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform welding and metal fabrication in a shop environment
- Use grinders, saws, drills, and other shop tools
- Read and work from measurements, drawings, or job specifications
- Assemble fabricated metal components
- Prepare, fit, and finish materials for welding and assembly
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Follow all safety procedures and quality standards
