About The Position

This role provides general construction labor tasks, in an efficient and safe manner, as part of a welding team for precast panels. The welder will complete general construction labor tasks necessary to caulk precast concrete panels, take work direction from the welding crew foreperson, and may perform miscellaneous tasks as directed. The position requires efficient use of materials and supplies, responsible handling of equipment, and adherence to established safety procedures and policies.

Requirements

• 3G & 4G Certified Welder
• AWS Certification
• Ability to carry out simple and complex verbal instructions
• Ability to work well with others and maintain professional conduct at all times
• Ability to work from ladders and aerial work platforms above 20 ft
• Ability to obtain membership to local Laborers union
• General knowledge of construction practices
• Valid driver’s license and reliable means of transportation
• Ability to travel extensively (50% of the time or more, including overnights) and work overtime as needed

Nice To Haves

• 2+ years of construction or manual labor experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
