About The Position
Excellent job opportunity for Welders in McAlester, OK! Starting Pay: $19.00 - $21.00/hr. The role involves welding metal parts together using various welding processes, performing related tasks such as thermal cutting and grinding, repairing metal parts, and positioning components for welding.
Requirements
- HS Diploma or GED
- Employee must have at least 3-5 years of welding experience.
- Must be able to stand, bend, squat, lift, and work quickly with hands during the entire shift
- Must be able to pass all pre-screening requirements.
Responsibilities
- Weld metal parts together using both gas welding and brazing and any combination of arc welding processes.
- Performs elated tasks such as thermal cutting and grinding.
- Repairs broken or cracked parts, fills holes, and increases size of metal parts.
- Positions and clamps together components of fabricated metal products preparatory to welding.
