About The Position
De Havilland Parts and Aerostructures is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Welder to join our manufacturing team in Calgary AB. Your expertise and knowledge will contribute to the growth and success of our organization as we strive to maintain high standards of quality and safety in aircraft manufacturing.
Requirements
- Canadian provincial Red Seal Journeyman or equivalent, or equivalent ticket from another country as approved by the Training and Apprenticeship Committee, is considered an asset
- Able to assist in training, directing and supervising Junior employees
- Able to work safely and efficiently with a minimum of supervision
Responsibilities
- Tig weld and fabricate aircraft parts in accordance with OEM Customer Specifications; steel, stainless, aluminum, inconel, titanium.
- Silver Braze aircraft parts to OEM Customer Specifications
- Create fixtures for assemblies
- Plan all weld operations, in process inspections and any other operations requiring welding operations on time and on budget
- Meet all quality standards and procedures
- Maintaining a clean work area, and alerting their supervisor of any safety concerns
- Any other duties assigned
