About The Position

Graver Technologies LLC, a member of The Marmon Group (a Berkshire Hathaway Company), is seeking 1st and 2nd Shift Welders to work in their Vessel Shop to support the manufacture of High-Pressure Vessels & Filter Housings. The welder is capable of performing a variety of welding functions using various types of welding equipment and may be required to perform other miscellaneous tasks as supervision deems necessary. Compensation for this role is $27-35, dependent on experience, interview, and results of a weld test (MIG and TIG).

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years' experience in on-the-job MIG and TIG welding
High school diploma or GED.
Ability to read and understand drawings and specifications.
Ability to lift 50 pounds occasionally.
Ability to use various measuring instruments.
Ability to perform basic math functions.

Nice To Haves

ASME Code welding certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Understand and follow all safety procedures.
Maintain a clean and safe work area.
Weld and document production of products.
Ability to Read and interpret blueprints and machine drawings to determine specific welding requirements.
Welds in flat, horizontal, vertical or overhead positions.
Be able to move parts in and move finished product out of welding area.
Perform quality checks on finished goods to ensure products meet all specifications.
Complete all required documentation that relate to product produced.
Document and report raw material consumption for all finished product.
Communicate any quality issues to appropriate personnel. Provide the data necessary to help properly disposition nonconforming material.
Ensure all operations conform to our ISO 9001:2015 standards.
