About The Position

Ferguson is seeking a Welder to weld outlets onto steel pipe and perform specialty welding tasks for the fire sprinkler industry. The role includes inspecting work for defects and maintaining a clean, safe welding station while meeting quality and performance standards. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 5:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The role is bonus or incentive plan eligible.

Requirements

• One to three years of welding experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to prioritize workload, balance multiple demands, and meet timelines.

Responsibilities

• Weld outlets onto steel pipe for the fire sprinkler industry.
• Perform specialty welding tasks, including spool pieces and flanges.
• Inspect work for defects, dimensions, alignment, end preparations, and seam splits in pipe.
• Maintain a clean and safe welding station in accordance with quality and performance standards.
• Report equipment malfunctions, safety issues, and required repairs.
