About The Position
The Welder is responsible for setting up and operating welding equipment, monitoring the welding process and product quality, and making necessary process corrections to maintain a steady flow of quality products for customers. The role involves welding components to assemble tanks and pressure vessels and performing inspections and equipment operation as needed.
Requirements
- Ability to read prints and locate piece parts.
- Ability to set up and monitor machine operating parameters and make corrections.
- Ability to position, align, and fit components.
- Ability to weld fabricated, cast, and stamped components.
- Ability to complete first-article inspections and monitor product quality using required gauges and inspection criteria.
- Ability to operate lifting devices as needed.
