About The Position

The Welder works under limited supervision performing skilled welding tasks to meet required industry standards, while adhering to good safety practices and procedures. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a welder/fitter
• Must be able to pass procedure tests, as needed
• Must be able to weld steel, aluminum, and stainless
• Must be familiar with mig, tig, flux core, and stick welding
• Must have a good mechanical aptitude
• Available to work overtime when needed
• Possess a valid CDL-Class A, and a clean driving record
• Must provide own basic hand tools
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
• Ability to read and follow instructions and directions
• Ability to handle physically demanding work
• Ability to work without supervision
• Ability to communicate well with others

Nice To Haves

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
• Ability to lead helper on projects a plus
