About The Position

Unified Door & Hardware Group (UDHG) is seeking a dependable, safety-minded Welder with steel fabrication experience. The position involves welding, fabricating, and repairing steel components using appropriate techniques. The successful candidate will read blueprints, work with different gauges of steel, and produce quality welds that meet safety and project standards. The role includes welding and fabricating 16–18 gauge stainless steel and other metals, reading blueprints and diagrams to determine welding methods, and inspecting finished welds for structural integrity and quality. The Welder must follow safety protocols and OSHA requirements, use proper lifting techniques, support the company’s values, and perform other duties as assigned. Requirements

0–2 years of experience in the field or a related area.
Excellent understanding of safety practices and procedures in a fabrication environment.
Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures.
Ability to read blueprints and diagrams.
Ability to weld, fabricate, and repair 16–18 gauge stainless steel and other metals.
