About The Position
Contech is hiring structural welders for its Greeley, Colorado plant. In this role, you will fabricate steel bridges that support essential infrastructure and keep communities moving. The position is on the night shift and includes a $3.00 night-shift premium. Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Proficiency in welding techniques, including MIG and stick welding.
- Ability to work with precision instruments.
- Good attention to detail and organizational skills.
Nice To Haves
- Technical training or welding experience is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding procedures to ensure accurate welding.
- Use templates, patterns, scribes, and similar tools to mark and lay out material.
- Align and assemble products for welding using cranes, lever hoists, chains, and related equipment.
- Use a cutting or plasma torch to burn material to a precise layout.
- Follow safety protocols to help create a secure work environment.
