About The Position
At Kidco Construction, we are building Calgary from the ground down. We are looking for an experienced equipment JOURNEYMAN WELDER to join our busy machine shop team.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience performing a variety of welding techniques - including stick welding, MIG welding, etc.
- Experience with welding on mobile equipment/machinery is required
- A strong sense of urgency and can work well under tight deadlines
- Red Seal for welding
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Legally allowed to work in Canada
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of welding techniques - including stick welding, MIG welding, etc.
- Weld on mobile equipment/machinery
- Conduct pre-operational equipment inspection before operating
