About The Position

This is a full-time permanent paid position for a Welder. The role involves performing welding tasks in a heavy industrial worksite environment, which may include exposure to outdoor elements, extreme weather conditions, air particles, dust, chemicals, and loud noises. The position requires the use of proper personal protective equipment and is considered safety-sensitive due to the responsibility for the safety of oneself and others.

Requirements

Has passed Weld 3 test.
Welding qualification limited to welding horizontal(2F) and vertical (3F) fillet welds until they pass a fillet weld break tests.
Welding is FCAW only.
Weld in the 2F and 3F position without supervision after expectations are established.
Perform tack welds working with a fitter.
Select and set-up welding equipment and basic troubleshooting.
Inspect their fillet (2F/3F) welds and basic repairs to ensure compliance to standards and specifications. (After TC time)
Ability to weld to Reasonable Expectations (RE’s)
Ability to follow verbal and or written instructions.
Ability to establish working relationships with other employees and supervisors.
Acceptable attendance, following the established Company policies.
High school diploma or GED required
Ability to work well under minimal supervision

Nice To Haves

Technical school training, preferred, however, is not required

Responsibilities
