Welder
About The Position
The Welder is responsible for performing high-quality TIG welding on aluminum and copper components and assemblies according to engineering specifications. Every day at Hubbell is different and you’ll contribute in many ways. On any given day, you’ll make a difference by performing TIG welding on aluminum and copper components per engineering drawings, reading and interpreting blueprints and specifications, setting up and welding components to create complex assemblies, maintaining welding equipment, tools, and work areas in clean and safe condition, collaborating with team members to meet production goals, and ensuring compliance with safety guidelines and quality standards.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Welding certification from a recognized program or 1-3 years of welding experience
- Proficiency in TIG welding techniques
- Ability to read and interpret manufacturing drawings and safety guidelines
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
