About The Position

BestLogic Staffing is seeking an experienced Welder to join a growing manufacturing team. This hands-on position involves precision manual and robotic welding across multiple positions to produce strong, high-quality assemblies according to established specifications. The ideal candidate has welding or fabrication experience, can accurately interpret blueprints, and is committed to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Previous hands-on welding experience or completion of a recognized welding-training program.
  • Experience with standard welding equipment, tools, and safety practices.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, job routings, and written specifications.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 70 pounds regularly.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform work involving bending, reaching, and repetitive movements.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a production environment.

Nice To Haves

  • MIG, TIG, or spot-welding certification.
  • Experience operating robotic welding or automated manufacturing systems.
  • Familiarity with lean-manufacturing practices, including 5S and TPM.
  • Experience using both metric and imperial measurement systems.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or production-welding environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform MIG, TIG, spot, and other welding processes using various materials and specifications.
  • Operate robotic welding systems and automated equipment to achieve proper metal fusion.
  • Independently set up workstations, tools, and welding equipment.
  • Complete welding operations according to blueprints, technical drawings, job routings, and written specifications.
  • Grind and finish welded components according to production requirements.
  • Work accurately with both metric and imperial measurements.
  • Adjust welding equipment and techniques as needed to meet quality requirements.
  • Follow all established safety procedures when operating welding and fabrication equipment.
  • Inspect completed parts for workmanship, accuracy, and conformance before transferring them to the next work center.
  • Review job routings and updated specifications to remain current with process changes.
  • Identify and report weld defects, equipment concerns, and other quality issues.
  • Participate in continuous-improvement initiatives.
  • Complete required production and quality documentation accurately.
  • Perform 5S and Total Productive Maintenance activities.
  • Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean, organized, and operational.
