About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Welder to support production and manufacturing operations. This position is responsible for fitting and welding components using blueprints, work instructions, and welding specifications to produce high-quality finished products. The ideal candidate will have experience in a manufacturing environment, the ability to consistently produce quality welds, and a strong understanding of weld quality standards, including the identification and prevention of common weld defects such as porosity and undercut.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 3 years of welding experience or vocational training.
Experience with MIG welding required.
Ability to weld flat, vertical, and overhead positions.
Ability to read tape measures, blueprints, welding symbols, and technical drawings.
Ability to visually inspect weld and make adjustments to ensure quality results.
Knowledge of fabrication and welding equipment.

Nice To Haves

Forklift and overhead crane experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Set up and adjust welding equipment for various materials and applications.
Perform MIG welding according to print specifications and production requirements.
Produce strong, consistent welds that meet company quality standards.
Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, technical drawings, and work instructions.
Inspect finished welds for quality, accuracy, and compliance with specifications.
Identify and correct common weld defects, including porosity, undercut, lack of fusion, and excessive spatter.
Make machine and technique adjustments to maintain weld quality and production efficiency.
Operate fabrication tools and equipment safely.
Assist with assembly processes using fixtures and production tools.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Follow all safety and quality procedures.
