About The Position

Advance Storage Products is seeking reliable, long-term employees to join its manufacturing team. Welders operate and produce to customer specifications using job work orders and blueprints. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Welding diploma or applicable years of experience.
Working knowledge of fixturing and weld setup parameters.
Ability to read a tape measure.
Successful completion of an internal welding test.
Ability to stand for long periods.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds throughout a 10-hour shift.
Willingness to cross-train in other areas.

Responsibilities

Use assigned welding techniques proficiently.
Interpret shop drawings, including weld wire symbology.
Apply knowledge of wire and filler materials for various steel alloys, aluminum, and galvanized metal.
Use conventional and precision measuring instruments.
Perform process inspection, certification, and documentation.
Maintain welding equipment.
Perform finish grinding using manual and power tools.
Follow safety and housekeeping practices daily.
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Work closely with other manufacturing departments and support a safe, lean workspace and continuous improvement initiatives.
