About The Position

McNICHOLS is hiring a Welder to perform welding and other fabrication of steel, stainless steel, and aluminum products, along with general warehouse duties needed to fulfill customer orders. The company provides uniforms, steel-toed boots, welding gear, and safety equipment in a clean, safe work environment. Training, skill-based pay, and opportunities for career growth are offered.

Requirements

• One to two years of welding experience or comparable technical training.
• Ability to set up a welding machine and pass a horizontal and vertical (2F/3F) welding test on ¼-inch-thick metal.
• Ability to read and understand precise measurements.
• Ability to follow detailed work instructions and maintain high quality standards.
• Self-motivation to provide quality products and service to customers.
• Ability to communicate and work well as a team member.

Responsibilities

• Weld steel, stainless steel, and aluminum using GMAW.
• Cut metal using shears, saws, plasma cutters, or other equipment.
• Operate power tools, including sanders and grinders.
• Operate a forklift, side loader, or crane as needed to move materials.
• Perform shipping and receiving tasks to complete customer orders, including pulling stock and crating products.
