About The Position

This is a Welder position at the Baker City Plant, available for both 1st and 2nd shifts. The role involves performing welding operations on Tubular Welding products, maintaining machinery, and contributing to the assembly of products and data tracking. The position requires a focus on quality, organization, and adherence to documented procedures and the employee handbook. Additionally, the welder will be responsible for routine preventative maintenance on associated equipment and performing duties with limited supervision, ensuring safety, quality, and production standards are met.

Requirements

• Be able to read a tape measure.
• Basic mathematical ability.
• Position will require lifting 30 to 70 lbs. approximately 70% of the time.
• Ability to work towards continuous improvement of product quality and ISO 9001-2015
• Practice safe working habits and follow safety procedures, policy, and Job Safety Analysis (JSA).

Nice To Haves

• Lean experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding operations on Tubular Welding products using appropriate jigs.
• Set machinery properly according to material requirements.
• Maintain the machine and perform other operations, as necessary.
• Ability to help in all areas of the department as needed.
• Responsible for the assembly of product and data tracking.
• Responsible for quality and quantity of work, organization of work.
• Responsible for compliance with all documented procedures and employee handbook.
• Responsible for performing routine Preventative Maintenance on associated equipment.
• Responsible for safety, quality, and production with limited supervision.
