About The Position
Helix Electric is looking for an experienced Welder to join our team. We’re looking for a hardworking energetic professional who enjoys meeting challenges and surpassing customer expectations.
Requirements
- Must have experience in welding mild steel, stainless steel, & aluminum
- Minimum of one years’ experience welding in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of welding practices
- Knowledge of reading drawings and blueprints.
- Must be able to read tape measure, be proficient at layout, and have experience reading plans and specs.
Responsibilities
- Perform MIG, TIG and other types of weld based on project needs
- Verify material sizes
- Interpret drawings to cut, notch, fit, and weld materials to proper specifications
- Monitor and verify the accuracy of each job’s initial set-up and final outcome
- Communicates with supervisor, engineers, production control, quality and other shop personnel for assignments and to resolve machining or quality issues
- May perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
