About The Position

Cevons Environmental Services is Guyana’s leading environmental services provider, offering waste collection, recycling, recovery, transportation, and disposal solutions to commercial, industrial, municipal, and residential clients. We are committed to safety, operational excellence, and environmental responsibility.

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Welder to join our Operations & Maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating, repairing, and maintaining bins, containers, truck bodies, equipment, and other company assets.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Welder or Fabricator.
• Knowledge of MIG, TIG, Arc, and gas welding techniques.
• Ability to use welding and fabrication tools safely.
• Strong attention to detail and safety standards.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding, cutting, grinding, and fabrication works.
• Repair and maintain skips, bins, tanks, trailers, and equipment.
• Operate welding equipment safely and efficiently.
• Read and interpret measurements and technical drawings.
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality and durability.
• Follow all company health and safety procedures.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and clean work areas.
