About The Position

National Ramp manufactures accessibility ramp solutions that help elderly and disabled people regain mobility and independence. The Welder contributes to producing ramp systems and components that support safety, reliability, and everyday freedom. The role works closely with the broader manufacturing team to produce high-quality components and support steady production. This is an on-site position in Valley Cottage, New York, five days a week, with availability for first or second shift required. The salary range is $25–$30 per hour, based on experience.

Requirements

Completion of a welding program.
At least 2 years of welding experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
Hands-on experience with MIG, TIG, and stick welding techniques.
Ability to read blueprints accurately and use measuring tools with precision.
Knowledge of welding safety standards and proper use of protective equipment.
Ability to lift materials and stand for extended periods during production shifts.
Availability to work first or second shift.
Eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

Perform MIG, TIG, or stick welding on ramp components to specification.
Read blueprints and fabrication drawings to accurately assemble welded metal structures.
Inspect weld quality and correct defects to meet safety and quality standards.
Operate welding and cutting equipment while following shop safety procedures.
Collaborate with the production team to meet daily output and manufacturing deadlines.
