Requirements
- Comprehensive knowledge of safety practices across different types of machinery and processes.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Familiarity with tools and machinery used in metalworking, welding, fiber laser and press brake.
- Attention to detail and precision.
- Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Problem-solving skills.
- Ability to switch between different tasks and machines as required.
Nice To Haves
- Technical training or vocational certification in metalworking (optional but advantageous)
Responsibilities
- MIG/TIG welding and metal finishing.
- Spot weld set up and operation.
- Stud weld set up and operation.
- Familiarity with various metals including carbon steel, stainless steel, cast iron and aluminum
- Distribute finished work to subsequent work centers.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints.
- Strong ability to use various measuring tools accurately.
- Read, interpret, and understand work orders, drawings, and production schedules to determine specifications, such as material to be used, dimensions, and tolerances.
- Inspect the materials and finished products to ensure they meet required tolerances and quality standards.
