The Welder position at GFL involves safely performing metal working activities such as job layout, welding, cutting, fabricating, grinding, and painting for both structural and nonstructural applications. This role focuses on new and used solid waste handling equipment. Key responsibilities include operating welding equipment for fabrication and repairs, preparing equipment for painting, maintaining accurate service records and supply inventory, and ensuring a clean work environment. The Welder is also expected to inspect and maintain tools, ensure quality and safety in repairs, and conform to all company policies and regulations.
