About The Position

Pappas Restaurants is seeking a hardworking team player for its Service team. The Welder fabricates stainless steel components, performs routine maintenance on equipment, and carries out welding and assembly tasks in the shop and on-site. The role involves hands-on problem-solving in a dynamic work environment, using a variety of tools and machinery to support production needs in the shop and in the field. The company offers steady, year-round employment and continuous training.

Requirements

At least 1 year of welding experience.
TIG welding knowledge.
Familiarity with setting and adjusting welding equipment based on materials.
Basic understanding of design techniques, principles, and tools used to produce technical plans, drawings, and models.
Ability to read basic blueprints and/or drawings.
Basic math skills related to dimensioning.
Ability to work as part of a team or independently as needed.
Ability to multitask and work well under pressure.
Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with coworkers.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to work variable and flexible hours, and overtime as needed.
Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors; lift up to 50 pounds; crawl, stoop, climb ladders, and work in a variety of physical conditions; and use common power tools and other basic tools.
