About The Position
Production Welder with experience or training capable of performing a variety of welding functions. The individual should be familiar with and capable of using various types of welding equipment. A welder is also required to perform other miscellaneous tasks, as supervision deems necessary.
Requirements
- At least eighteen (18) years of age and eligible to work in the United States
- Able to pass a post offer drug test, background check, and fitness review
- Demonstrate high attention to detail and self-motivation skills
- Willing to train, work, and rotate through all department workstations and work in other departments as needed
- Capable of working in seasonal high temperatures and humidity (conditioned air environment)

- Experience is a plus but not required
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprint and work instructions to determine specific welding requirements
- Connect cables from welding unit to obtain amperage, voltage, slope, and pulse, per blueprint
- Make adjustment to produce to quality parts to specific dimensions
- Examines weld for bead size and other specifications
- Repairs broken or cracked parts and fills holes
- Position and clamp work pieces together or assemble them in jig or fixtures
- Tack assemblies together
- Chips off excess weld, slag, and spatter
- Clean or de-greases parts
- Perform all necessary maintenance and repair on all equipment used in welding
- Be able to move parts in and move finished product out of welding area
- Bolt, clamp, and tack-welds parts to secure in position for welding
