About The Position
Leonhardt Manufacturing is seeking Welders for temp-to-hire opportunities across multiple shifts. This is hands-on MIG welding work using blueprints and work orders to produce high-quality components and assemblies from galvanized steel, aluminum, stainless steel, and carbon steel. These positions are intended to support increased production demand, with the potential for permanent employment based on performance, attendance, and business needs.
Requirements
- Previous MIG welding experience preferred
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work instructions
- Strong attention to quality and detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable attendance and a commitment to safety
Responsibilities
- Perform MIG welding based on blueprints, work instructions, and production requirements
- Set up components and fixtures for welding
- Weld galvanized, aluminum, stainless steel, and carbon steel
- Inspect welds for quality, consistency, and conformance to specifications
- Grind, sand, and finish welds as needed
- Support inspection processes, including visual and leak testing
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Contribute to daily production and quality goals
