We are trusted for engineering solutions and are known for designing and fabricating custom hydraulic power units, hydraulic valve actuators, and hydraulic winch packages. The job of a Hose Technician is to use all the tools and equipment necessary to assembly and test hose assemblies to meet customer’s specifications. A Hose Technician is responsible for accurately selecting correct raw materials, cutting hose to proper length, crimping the specified fittings in their proper orientation, cleaning and testing all to customer specifications. On occasion, they may be required to work overtime to complete a job on time or other duties, as the company requires.

Requirements

Candidates must be able to perform their duties without impairment and comply with all safety protocols and procedures.
Steel-Toed Shoes – Employee supplied
Must have technical knowledge of hydraulic hose and fittings.
English Language
High School Diploma or GED

Responsibilities

Pull raw materials hose and fittings in the quantities specified in the work order.
Operate lifting equipment (i.e. forklift).
Operate tag machines
Operate the hose saws.
Operate the crimping machines.
Use power tools.
Clean (pig) hoses.
Test hoses (hydrostatic)
Cap Hose ends.
Package hoses for shipment.
Maintain traceability and records on quality forms and or work orders.
Clean and maintain work area.
