About The Position

Phoenix Laser Solutions is the largest YAG laser welding company in North America, with five locations across the Midwest. We specialize in precision laser welding, TIG welding, cladding, and advanced additive manufacturing technologies used to repair, modify, and manufacture critical components for industries including injection molding, aerospace, and medical devices. Our team combines advanced technology with hands-on craftsmanship to deliver repairs and surface enhancements that traditional welding shops cannot match. We are currently hiring skilled and motivated welders for 3rd shift at our Meadville, PA location. Requirements

• Welding experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
• Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment
• Must pass required vision screening
• Willingness to work overtime during peak production periods or special projects

Responsibilities

• Select proper materials and weld wire for specific applications
• Prepare materials for welding by grinding and cleaning metal surfaces
• Read and interpret complex blueprints, drawings, and written instructions
• Measure, compute, and document dimensions and tolerances
• Determine appropriate welding techniques and best practices
• Inspect and verify quality of completed parts
• Contribute to process improvements and operational efficiency
• Think critically and solve problems independently
• Work with minimal supervision while maintaining high quality standards
