Requirements
- Read and interpret blueprints, graphics, work orders, technical drawings, and other construction documentation to fabricate a quality project.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years of related industry experience.
- Current and valid welding certification.
Responsibilities
- Fabricate and weld metal components using various welding techniques.
- Measure and mark materials for cutting and shaping.
- Operate fabrication equipment including welding torches, plasma cutters, grinders, and other hand tools.
- Conduct quality inspections to ensure finished products meet specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance on fabrication equipment.
- Operate heavy machinery including tractors, forklifts, and skid steers, as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
- Assist shop foreman with warehouse organization, inventory, and other various projects.
