About The Position
Kinsley Steel is hiring an experienced Welder to work on steel projects, including constructing steel frameworks and fabricating metal components. The role involves welding structural steel parts according to detailed drawings and marked-up weld symbols, ensuring the work meets quality standards. Welders collaborate with team members, maintain a clean and organized work area, follow safety policies, and perform other job-related duties as assigned. The position is full-time, with first- and second-shift positions available. Second-shift employees receive a $3.00-per-hour differential over base pay. Schedules may include overtime and Saturdays as needed.
Requirements
- Pass a 3G weld test using 1/16th flux core wire.
- Have applicable experience with D1.1 codes and 2G/3G welding.
- Have 3 years of experience operating overhead cranes.
- Be willing to learn.
- Be able to interpret fabrication and construction drawings.
- Be flexible to work any schedule needed, including overtime and Saturdays as needed.
Responsibilities

- Operate overhead cranes, air arc equipment, grinders, magnetic drills, and other trade tools safely and efficiently.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure the quality and completeness of work.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.

- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
