About The Position

Join Tarter as a Welder and be a part of our dedicated team responsible for producing high-quality welded products. As a Welder, you will play a key role in welding components according to blueprints, work instructions, and quality standards, using both manual and robotic welding methods. This role requires effective communication, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the functionality and safety of our manufacturing equipment and facilities. Your work aligns with Tarter's commitment to excellence and safety.

Ability to maintain a steady hand during welding.
Skill in handling welding equipment with precision.

Capability to stretch, twist, stoop, and stand for extended periods.
A keen eye for quality and precision.
Ability to troubleshoot and find solutions as needed.
Commitment to maintaining a clean and organized work area.
Competence in using tape measures, clamps, squares, grinders, drills, and saws.

Responsibilities

Place parts on jigs using measuring tapes, clamps, and squares, ensuring precise positioning for welding.
Join parts with tack welds skillfully so the final weld covers the tack points, ensuring a clean finish.
Weld components using MIG, pulsed, or robotic welding techniques, producing strong, high-quality welds.
Safely and effectively operate various portable and power tools while following safety protocols.
Carefully follow work and welding instructions to meet quality and production standards.
Identify and address cases where parts do not fit correctly in jigs or do not align with adjacent parts, ensuring accurate assembly.
Safely operate overhead cranes or hoists as needed for the welding process.
Envision the final appearance of products during the welding process to ensure accuracy.
Properly assemble welded parts according to specifications.
Be willing to perform other tasks as assigned, contributing to a flexible and productive work environment.
