About The Position

Geoprobe® is seeking an experienced welder/fabricator to join its growing team. The role involves fabricating and assembling metal structures and equipment, interpreting blueprints, operating and maintaining welding equipment, and producing quality finished work. Requirements

• Experienced welder/fabricator.
• High school degree.
• Basic computer knowledge and willingness to learn more.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Nice To Haves

• TIG welding experience.
• AWS or equivalent certification.
• Experience with CNC equipment, such as plasma or laser.
• Experience programming or operating robotic welding equipment.

Responsibilities

• Safely fabricate and assemble metal structures and equipment using a MIG welder, band saw, shear, metal punch, and measuring tools.
• Set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment.
• Determine the structurally appropriate size and length of weld when documentation does not specify it.
• Read and accurately interpret blueprints to determine operations, required materials, and project timeframes.
• Provide the required finished quality, both with and without fixturing, within a reasonable time.
• Perform other responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.
