About The Position

MSI Defense Solutions is hiring experienced Welders to join its team at a five-building campus in Mooresville, North Carolina. This hands-on role supports defense industry work serving warfighters and allies. The Welder reads blueprints, prepares and fits materials, and welds and fabricates metal components using a variety of tools and equipment. The company seeks dependable, detail-oriented fabricators who take pride in quality work, prioritize safety, and work well with others. The schedule is four 10-hour days, Monday through Thursday, from 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Competitive pay depends on experience.

Requirements

Preferably 3 or more years of MIG/TIG welding and fabrication experience with steel, chromoly, and aluminum.
Ability to interpret blueprints and welding symbols.
Experience with fabrication equipment, hand tools, and precision measuring tools.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work with minimal supervision.
Ability to achieve required weld certifications.
Must meet U.S. citizenship requirements and be able to obtain a security clearance if required.
