About The Position

Volt is hiring a Welder in Anaheim, California. The role performs welding work according to production schedules and supports production quality, documentation, safety, and orderly work areas. The position is full time, Monday through Friday, from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with overtime as needed.

Requirements

Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and push or pull up to 100 lbs.
Ability to bend, twist, turn, kneel, and squat.
Ability to stand and walk up to nine hours per day, reach overhead continuously, and work overtime as needed.
Ability to work safely around moving equipment, power tools, and industrial vehicles.
Ability to perform repetitive use of the upper extremities.
Good hand-eye coordination and dexterity.

Nice To Haves

At least 1 year of industry welding experience.
Ability to read and understand routings, work orders, and production reports.
Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift.
Ability to lift and move approximately 25–40 lbs.
Strong attention to quality, safety, and accuracy.

Responsibilities

Perform welding tasks based on production schedules.
Inspect parts before and after they enter assigned workstations and immediately report non-conformance issues to the group leader and/or supervisor.
Perform required quality testing and documentation.
Complete production paperwork accurately, including labor reporting, move tickets, and SPC charts.
Follow safety rules and regulations and maintain a clean, orderly work area.
Maintain a consistent pace throughout the shift while meeting applicable quality standards.
Maintain regular, reliable attendance.
Rotate between workstations as assigned.
Perform duties assigned by the supervisor and/or group leader.
Work overtime as required by production schedules.
