About The Position
Stoughton Trailers is seeking individuals interested in becoming welders at our Stoughton plant. This program offers paid training to teach you the fundamentals of welding, a skilled trade with high demand. The training begins with a two-week intensive program covering welding basics, equipment, techniques, machine settings, and blueprint reading, all under the guidance of expert instructors. Following the classroom and lab training, you will undergo a hands-on weld test. During this training period, you will be paid $18.00 per hour as a Welder in Training. Upon successful completion of the test, you will be assigned to a production weld floor mentor for a three-week hands-on training period. After this, your skills will be assessed, and if expectations are met, you will be promoted to Welder with an increased pay rate of $22.00 per hour.

- Perfect attendance during Weld School is a must.

Responsibilities
